  27.  Well, This thread goes to show that often people really arn't in touch
  28.  with products well enough to really make statements they do. The flyer
  29.  does not use timelines, but at the recent flyer demo NewTek put on
  30.  at our user group the person giving the demo stated that their is
  31.  a third party package that will give timelines to those that desire
  32.  them. The name eludes me but he said it evolved because many familiar with
  33.  time lines requested it. Now From the demo I saw I can't see how anybody
  34.  would want to step back to time lines. The guy grabs a slider, wings thru
  35.  the clip at high speed until he gets to where the action(cut transistion
  36.  audie ect) is to hapen selects it and bang finished. On playback it was right
  37.  on every time. Kinda like doing a crop in a image processor where you
  38.  type in the specs as opposed to visually grabbing it with the mouse. 
  39.  Regardless Timelines are available. BTW this was only a part of
  40.  the utilities the package offered.

  43. PS. I get the feeling those using someother package are comparing it with
  44.    the older flyer software.
